The ASAT Bluesboy Semi-Hollow combines classic T-style twang with semi-hollow humbucking warmth. It features a clear red finish on a semi-hollow swamp ash body. The maple neck is G&L’s classic C shape, and it has a maple fretboard with dot inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets. The satin clear finish on the neck is just enough – it lets the maple breath and feel natural. The nut is bone. Electronically, this guitar has a G&L MFD ASAT Classic single-coil in the bridge and a Seymour Duncan Seth Lover humbucker in the neck. This combination provides a sonic palette that covers the entire tonal spectrum: Single coil shimmer all the way to midsy semi-hollow bark. This is a great take on the ASAT, and it’s perfect for constant gigging, recording, and practicing.
