The combination of mahogany, ebony, and wenge results in a focused, aggressive tone, which you can feel immediately when you strum a chord. The lightning-fast satin neck is both velvet-smooth while being not too thin.

The surprisingly versatile controls pair well with the Schecter USA San Andreas pickups to cover a wide variety of heavy styles. We particularly liked how the guitar stayed tight under the heaviest of gain. Tuning stability is rock-solid with the hardtail bridge, also!

We’re really impressed by the quality of the instrument at the competitive price point – Schecter is simply killing the mid-price range.
