The Jim Root Signature Pro-Mod San Dimas® Style 1 HH FR M begins with a mahogany body that has been sleekly contoured with a scalloped lower back bout for comfortable and unencumbered upper-fret access. The bolt-on maple neck is graphite-reinforced for rock-solid stability to withstand extreme climate changes, while the 12”-16” compound radius maple fingerboard with rolled edges and 22 jumbo frets allows for effortlessly fast playing and comfortable bends. A heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel and Luminlay® side dots are game changers for touring musicians, allowing for pain-free neck relief tweaks on the fly and fingerboard guidance on even the darkest of metal stages.
A fearsome set of EMG® Jim Root Daemonum™ humbucking pickups combines the power of active pickups with the sensitive touch of passive pickups. Incredibly responsive and versatile, these pickups create a massive wall of crushing sound that cuts to the front of the mix. The streamlined controls consist of a three-way blade pickup switch and a skirted Strat®-style volume knob.
